Sesotho Food
Dear readers, today I would like us to talk about Sesotho Food. Basotho people are hands on. They love farming a lot and eat food they produced. They had huge fields and rared a of different domestic animals. Here are some of the Sesotho Food:
1. Lehala : lesheleshele le phehiloeng ka lebese.
2. Likhobe: poone e khothotsoeng ebe e phehuoa ka metsi.
3. Sebera: poone e phehiloeng eaba ea halikoa.
4. Nyakafatane: Likhobe tsa seotlong.
5. Potele: papa e phehelletsoeng le moroho.
6. Lipabi: phoofo ea poone e halikiloeng.
7. Nyekoe: likhobe tsa mabele tse kopantsoeng le linaoa le mokopu.
8. Lihoapa: Nama e omisitseng.
9. Mantatana: Mala a pere/ Tonki a omisitsoeng
10. Lepu: moroho oa lihaba o phehelletsoeng le lebolotsane.
11. Seketsa: mokopu o phehiloeng ka lebese.

Definitely lihoapa, my uncle loves meat and i think I've eaten every type of meat there is 😂there is never a meal we eat without meat when my uncle is around

ReplyDeleteI grew up at my grandparents house and trust me I know how nice all the food you have mentioned about are.. but i fell inlove with lipabi.. I loved the entire process of turning maize with our bare hands and stones into maize meal then comes sugar and salt.. gosh😂 that was and still my favourite
ReplyDeleteMy first encounter with with lehala was great, everyday before going to school I take a big gulp from cup to start my day perfect with no hungry stomach
